“The Chanderi fabric is a kind of cotton voile blended with silk, with a gracious drape—one of our regular picks.
For Fall 2025, we decided to play with checks and dots. The composition of the checks is slightly reminiscent of designs by Josef Hoffmann. Hoffmann was one of the most important artists in Vienna, with a uniquely modern vision at the turn of the 19th century, and we added a few dots here and there to allow for a bit of fantasy.
Note that all the embroidery is done by hand to preserve the relief of the black threads. We played with two different combinations: black embroidery on ivory, and black embroidery on black.” Thierry Colson.

« Le Chanderi est un voile de coton très aérien, mélangé à un fil de soie, ce qui lui confère un tombé très gracieux, et en fait l’une de nos matières de prédilection.
Pour l’hiver 2025, nous avons décidé de jouer graphiquement avec les carreaux et les pois. La composition des carreaux peut rappeler le travail de Josef Hoffmann, que j’avais découvert lors d’un passage à Vienne. Hoffmann était une figure de proue de la Sécession viennoise au tournant du XIXe siècle, et nous nous sommes amusés à associer les carreaux aux pois, en les parsemant çà et là.
Toutes ces broderies sont faites à la main, pour préserver l’effet mouliné du fil de broderie. Fil noir sur fond ivoire. Fil noir sur fond noir. »
