Hand -block printed in Jaipur India, the “Provencal Mignardises” theme takes its name from the traditional small print patterns called “Mignardises” in Provence.
“To give a more antic look we decided to print the background with one more block which gives an imperfect and artistic sensitive look,” said Thierry Colson.
Printed either on linen to get this look even more or on cotton voile for its softness, this group is playing on four harmonies where the facing inside the garments is bringing an opposite color.
Imprimé à la main et au tampon de bois gravé à Jaipur en Inde. Le thème "Mignardises Provençales" tire son nom des petits motifs provençaux traditionnels, proches des dessins "cravate", appelés "Mignardises".
"Pour un rendu à l’ancienne plus authentique et artisanal, nous avons pour la première fois utilisé un tampon de plus, pour imprimer le fond de l’imprimé", dit Thierry Colson.
Imprimé sur une support de lin accentuant l’effet "à l’ancienne" et sur voile de coton pour sa légèreté et sa douceur, ce thème se décline en quatre harmonies de couleurs. Les parementures de cette complète garde-robe offrent un effet contrasté.
