"I decided to name “Archaic” the spring-summer 2024 hand-embroidery on pure linen, due to my imagination and for the images that came up in my mind referring to Mesopotamia Ancient Greece or Egypt, using mainly geometric patterns combined with a pointy thistle flower.
For this reason, I used simple color backgrounds referring to this vanished Mediterranean world."

"J’ai baptisé « archaïque » la broderie réalisée à la main de l’été 2024 sur du pur lin un peu brut. Le mot « archaïque » évoque de façon poétique : la Mésopotamie, La Grèce Ancienne ou même l’Égypte.
Pour cette raison, j’ai sélectionné des motifs géométriques et juste un élément végétal unique très proche d’un chardon piquant."
